its really good to read your blog.
I was just searching for some chords(when i even don't know the meaning of chords :P ) for my piano which i found in a excel sheet from my friend's mail.
And I came to know with yout wonderfull blog. Allthough i know that before playing piano with my lappy's keyboard i need to map first keys with a orignal piano. :-)
Lets hope that this will inspire me to play real piano.

"Ninnu kori varnam" is a nice song, .... how do you pick up tunes, just by listening ? How do you know where to start? As I wrote in one of my posts, my notes are all: "Powered by intuition, Driven by sharp ears" :)
If you can sing/hum the first line of the pallavi and the first line of the charanam in the right scale, you'd know where to start. The starting point is the most crucial, so it doesn't matter whether you can sing the whole song or not, the fist line is what is most important.
Once I get a rough idea of the notes, I play the song with the original audio running in the background. If there's a major deviation, I re-work out the notes. Otherwise, I just let go of the small glitches here and there.
Amazing site...keep up the good work may be you could add a couple of videos of u playing a song so it will be easier for newbie ppl like me

Thanks for such a wonderful site. Can u allow the midi files to be downloaded. B'coz then I can use MIDI to sheet music conversion software and get western sheet music for these songs.

I've only got the MIDI files for the older songs on my list, songs before Om Shanti Om. For the latter ones, all I have are MP3s and WMVs (youtube files).

I still use accompanionment for chords, how do you manage to get the right chord for the tune?

I looooovvvveee your songs. I'm sooooooo happy you put through all your effort to get the notations just for us!!! Thank you soooooo much, but I still have some suggestions and requests. Don't get me wrong, I love what you do but I think some little tips will help. I think you should a little more songs because some of the songs I like, (haule haule, dance pe chance, Kuch kuch hota hai, etc.), never show up when I search it. Please add famous songs like that and recent songs. I know you start from scratch but it'll reeaaaaallllllyyyy help. Thank you soooooo much. And like I said, don't get me wrong. I'm so proud, amazed, and so many other things I can't describe them in words. But please make more recent songs. Playing the piano is one of my most favorite hobbies. This is the only website that i can find that helps me with all the songs. Once again, thank you soooooooooooooooooo much. You are my idol.
